President Touts His Alternative Fuels Plan

President Obama talked in Washington about plans to switch over to the corn based ethinol fuel and other sources of alternative liquid fuels. The president is trying to expand Americas sources of fuel to a more environmentally safe source and one that will not give out bad emissions that can help lead to global warming. Last week at his State of the Union address he showed his support for nuclear power and also offshore drilling for oil. Obama's goals are both for the environment and also economical. Representatives from all of the biofuel companies like this new proposal because it will give them a chance to try and come up with a new fuel and this will help them make money and also make the world more environmentally safe.
I think that it is good that the government is now stepping up to help the environment. We need to do something to try and stop all of the bad emissions that are leading to global warming. President Obama now just needs to put more money into it so it will be able to happen.
